Because I can’t seem to stop volunteering for things, I recently heard about a cool project, wherein people would read 12 business books per year and write reviews about them. Some people were chosen to be a part of a group that got the books for free and met periodically to talk about those books. I was not in that group—However, I was chosen as a small group of reviewers who get their reviews published on the Actionable Books website. I figured getting published was still pretty good, especially since I planned on reading the books anyway, so here is my first installment published on Actionable Books. You can read more about the Actionable Book summaries here.
Since I’ve been writing more and more freelance articles recently and been asked to provide samples of my work, I have decided to compile some of the articles I’ve written in one place.
Pinterest already has a great way to organize things, so I decided the best way to do it would be to pin the articles. This will make it easy to share my articles with publishers, but also will allow my friends and family an easy place to see what I’ve written recently without me having to harass them—they can follow or not. Easy-peasy!
That being said, feel free to follow any of my boards or this one at http://pinterest.com/tyoungster.
I’d love to hear how the rest of you have used Pinterest to organize your business or interests, so share your ideas in the comments section!
Today my latest article was published on the front page of snooth.com: http://www.snooth.com/articles/austins-best-wine-bars. See something missing? Post a comment on what your favorite wine bar in Austin is and I will go check it out. It may even make my next article.
